Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE is an Irish singer songwriter musician and actress. Corr along her fellow members Caroline Sharon and Jim, first made their appearance in the role of The Corrs' lead singer in the year 1990. Andrea Corr, an Irish musician singer songwriter actor is one of the Corrs. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire was conferred upon her and she is also known as the member of the Celtic Folk and Pop-Rock band The Corrs. The lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of the Corrs, she is also the group's leader. Beginning her acting career in 1991 Andrea then became a talented musician and a stage artist. Andrea was voiced by the character in The Quest for Camelot, an animated Warner Bros. cartoon film which was released in 1998. She has six studio albums, two compilation albums two live albums, and a remix album to her credit Andrea is firmly established as an artist with a variety of talents. She has been felicitated for her work in the field of charity too. Andrea is engaged to her boyfriend, a stockbroker and has two children. Andrea started learning to play the piano through playing the tinny. Gerry was her instructor when she started learning piano. Andrea also is a ukulele player. She spent her teenage years improving her musicianship abilities. She sang in the choir with her sisters and became the group's leader after lots of rehearsal. Andrea was a pupil in Dun Lughaidh Convent and participated in many school productions.
